Inntal motorway (A12) exit Zillertal, boundary road (B169) to Mayrhofen, remain on the boundary road and turn right after Mayrhofen towards Hintertux, carry on until you reach the valley station of the Hintertuxer Glacier lifts. Enter the gondola 1&2 to Tuxer Fernerhaus

(last ascending gondola from Hintertux at 4 pm). After a short descending walk (approximately 10 min.) you will reach the entrance of the Show Cave at 2.530 m above sea level, right next to the Spannagelhaus.

Snow can be expected all year around on the glacier and therefore it is recommended to wear winter clothes and winter shoes when you walk to the Spannagel Cave.
